Take a renewables developer from 1.1 GW operating to 3 GW by 2029, running construction, asset management and procurement across 14 states.
The role
The company develops, builds and owns onshore wind, solar and storage projects in 14 states, with 1.1 GW operating, 900 MW under construction and a pipeline of more than 6 GW. It was acquired by an infrastructure fund in 2024 with a mandate to triple the operating portfolio. Growth has outpaced the operating model: construction, asset management and procurement each report separately to the CEO, and the business needs one executive to bring them together. You will report to the Chief Executive and join an executive committee of six.
What you will do
Lead construction, asset management, procurement and health and safety, a combined team of about 220.
Deliver the 900 MW construction programme on schedule and within a capital budget of roughly $1.3bn.
Improve availability and revenue across the operating fleet, which is currently below plan at two wind sites.
Secure supply of modules, batteries and transformers, including domestic content requirements for tax credits.
Build the systems and reporting the fund needs as the portfolio grows.
What you will bring
Senior operating leadership at a developer, IPP or utility, covering both construction and operations.
A record of delivering several utility-scale projects at the same time.
Commercial command of EPC contracts, supply agreements and O&M arrangements.
Experience working for private equity or infrastructure fund owners.
A safety-first approach that the field teams can see.
The package
Base of $350,000 to $400,000, a 50% target bonus and a long-term incentive plan linked to portfolio value. Three days a week in the Midtown office, with regular site travel. First interviews w/c 26 October.
