Anjali Mehra

Anjali joined Roster in 2014 to open the New York office, after eight years in investment banking and four advising private equity firms on portfolio leadership. That time on the other side of the table means Anjali understands what sponsors expect from a chief executive in the first hundred days, and what tends to go wrong.

Anjali now leads board and executive searches across North America, with a particular focus on chief executive and CFO appointments for private equity backed and financial services businesses. Most searches begin with a long conversation with the sponsor and the board about the value creation plan. Anjali presents every shortlist in person, brings detailed referencing to each final round and stays in close touch with placed executives through their first year.
